3D Designer

Purpose of the job

This position reports into the Studio Traffic Manager and will manage and deliver high-quality creative outputs
Fluent in Italian, you will develop and elevate new and existing components and content, meeting short turnaround times and managing multiple requests and deadlines, taking briefs in both English and Italian.

You will meet brand standards and consistency across full conceptual creative briefs, including upfront 3D ideation for delivery retail POS requirements.

You will be responsible for all creative output from ideation through concept design, design engineering, client amends and adjustments, then for the final product adhering to brand guidelines, always aiming to exceed our client’s expectations. You will join our structural Design and Engineering team, working with the Studio Traffic Manager, Account Managers and wider Creative network as well as directly with our clients, to ensure creative solutions are delivered to high standards at all times.

Working on a wide range of projects predominantly retail focused, you will be comfortable managing multiple projects at once and working with the Traffic Manager and clients to prioritise your workload.

Key responsibilities

• Rethinking and transforming complex, busy content into strategic and easy-to-understand layouts
• Designing innovative corrugate displays and merchandising with eye-catching creativity and strong messaging that appeals to the brands target market
• Designing and preparing specifications for quotation and production of temporary, flat-packed and pre-filled POS displays
• Designing for all methods of print production, using multiple substrates
• Through design and innovation seek out opportunity to reduce production and TCO costs to support HH Global’s contractual commitments
• Managing design projects from initial brief to supplier handover
• Ensuring all final 3D builds align with brand guidelines
• Taking part in creative ideation sessions and pitches from a design perspective
• Attend client and third-party meetings, presenting concepts and designs to the client persuasively
• Sketching and creative scamping capabilities prior to 3D building with a structural and material awareness
• Bring ideas to life using expert specific software skills
• Producing creative presentation decks with specific 3D build annotations, providing accurate measurement and specific materials used
• Using our project management tool successfully and championing company processes
• Manage client expectations and build a reputation for creativity
• Support other team members in the pursuit of delivering the highest standard of service to the client

Knowledge, skills and experience

• Fluent in English and Italian, speaking and written.
• BA/BS in Graphic Design/Creative advertising or related field and relevant work experience in graphic design
• Stunning portfolio showcasing concept designs from visuals through to finalised full colour samples
• Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects)
• 3d CAD - Cinema 4D, Blender
• 2d CAD - Kasemake/Artios
• Hand sketching skills are highly advantageous
• Experience in retail campaign design in both 3D concept and 2D creative
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively
• Flexible and able to adapt to the changing needs of the business
• Strong communication and client facing skills
• Good understanding of all print and production methods
• Faultless eye for detail as well as creative flair
• Self-starter and effective problem solver who thrives in ambiguous and fast-paced
  environments
• Able to communicate conceptual ideas, with an openness to feedback and collaboration
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build good working relationships
• Strong attention to detail, keen eye for on-brand implementations, composition and design
  fundamentals
• Experience with interactive PDFs and Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Knowledge of pre-flighting and experience in preparing files for print/web
• Experience with vector graphics and photo editing
