Account Manager
Purpose of the job
The Account Manager will be responsible for strategically manage and develop client relationships. This person will oversee operations, procurement, production, and execution of the client’s strategy and projects and have direct accountability for client spend, financial and operational performance.
The role will be focused on continually driving down costs, increasing margins, and identifying new production opportunities for the client, retaining customers and nurturing key relationships, ensuring the team is delivering beyond the client’s expectation and achieving the financial results of the account, proactively seek out opportunities for organic client growth and new opportunities outside current clients. Interpret brief requirements and deliver innovative solutions to drive the business forward.
Key responsibilities
- As an account leader the manager will be responsible on leading every effort to accomplish monthly sales account budget.
- Ownership of allocated account, working to achieve and increase given targets.
- Taking client briefs and pro-actively suggesting alternative solutions to the client – adding value, up selling and cross selling where possible.
- Monitoring project budgets, within time and budget.
- Liaising with the in-house team and external vendors to build the project schedule and project quotation.
- Proactively following up on all quotations sent to the client.
- Identify key milestones related to project delivery and control.
- Communicating clearly to the client what is being delivered and the associated costs.
- Present final reports and results of projects internally and to clients.
- Monitoring project budgets, within time and budget.
- Solving problems and offering alternative solutions, supporting pitch proposals and delivery.
- Following up with the client with a wrap-up meeting and to encourage then to discuss future projects.
- Maintaining regular and effective communication with management team and peers world-wide.
- Proactively sharing knowledge with other team members and suggesting new ways of working.
- Always project HH Global positively within the organisation and ensure team members do the same.
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
- 5-7 years’ experience
- Advanced English. Native Spanish.
- Marketing / Creative agency experience with premiums and print knowledge.
- Client focused with excellent client facing and building relationships skills.
- Methodical and logical approach.
- Good listening and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Commercial business drive, determination to achieve excellence
- Ability to work under pressure and meet/exceed timelines.
- Willingness to continuously improve through self-development.
- Highly proficient with MS Office 365 software, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Educated to degree standard preferably in business or marketing management
- Able to analyze and improve current job processes/protocols and anticipate/manage change in a quickly moving global business environment.
