Japan Supply Chain Trade / Replenishment Analyst

Position Title:  Japan Supply Chain Trade / Replenishment Analyst

Reporting to : Global Supply Chain Director

Dotted line reporting to APAC SCM Manager based in Tokyo

Overview of the role:

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Administers the efficient and economical movement of goods in accordance with organizational policies.  
• Prepares reviews, approves and maintains files for import/export documents required for the lawful completion of import/export activities. 
• Serves as an import/export liaison for international customers/subsidiaries, distribution, procurement, planning, manufacturing, intercompany finance, regulatory and import/export compliance functions. 
• Plans, schedules and routes imports and exports, including monitoring the flow of traffic to/from foreign destinations, ensuring related customer service, brokerage and customs transaction compliance.
• Creates integrated processes among internal functions (e.g., operations, purchasing and logistics) and outside suppliers.
• Plans and analyzes activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials.

Must Have

• Import/Export relevant activities experience for 3-5 years
• Medical Device / Life Science industry experience (including pharmaceutical)
• Business level English / Fluent level Japanese proficiency
• Bachelor’s degree or more
• Strong Analytical skills
• Must be Tokyo area based who would be able to commute to Mozarc Tokyo Office
• Must be able to visit Mozarc warehouse in Sagamihara often and customs (Haneda/Narita/Tokyo ports) and sometimes Mozarc Plant in Shizuoka prefecture
• Good Communication skill / can demonstrate flexibility in various instances/ good teamwork
