Purpose of the Job

We have a new and exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join the team working for an international sports fashion retailer. Our client, is focused on market position in a competitive and innovative retail environment and needs us to support, enhance and drive the success of their in-store execution.

The Account Manager will work within the South Cluster team to ensure that client campaigns are managed from creative through to delivery or installation, on time and against operational and financial business targets. 

You will work closely with our key client stakeholders to execute bespoke and complex retail campaigns across our customers’ retail environments to the highest standards. To achieve this, you will work from a client brief to support with the design and execution of areas inclusive but not limited to windows, launch zones, instore environment and digital campaigns. Following a critical path, and creating multiple documents throughout the process, you will manage suppliers and internal contacts to help develop innovative ideas, ensuring each campaign is on specification, on time and on budget. 

 

Throughout the process, the Account Manager must remain in constant contact with suppliers, clients and internal teams, updating all stakeholders throughout, negotiating costings and timescales for each job, selecting the most appropriate supplier. From providing clear creative and production briefs, to quality checking and attending and overseeing installations, attention to detail is required at every step of the process.

 

We are seeking a retail focused individual with production management experience (particularly around special executions/shop in shop/window display) and with a proven track record in delivery of client solutions to demanding timelines and objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Manager proactively finds opportunity by looking for the best way of maximising delivery for the brand and driving this opportunity with our Clients
  • Working with internal studio and strategic suppliers to deliver the best solutions. The Account Manager will have the ability to influence client thinking to produce outstanding results
  • Our ideal candidate will also have an intuitive understanding of agency operations and be able to direct strategy and work with the teams
  • Attending WIPs and meetings and taking / influencing key briefs from clients showing a clear understanding of requirements and cascade to the wider team
  • Deliver excellent service to client with a professional 'can do' attitude at all times
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key contacts
  • Providing technical input and advice on projects as required to achieve high quality standards
  • Ensuring successful delivery of special execution campaigns across the client estate, making sure all is in line with contractual SLAs & KPIs. 
  • Managing all financial aspects of campaign production including quoting, raising POs, invoicing and reconciliation.
  • On occasion, attend overnight installs, solution finding, self-snagging and having the utmost attention to detail.
  • Manage installations remotely in multiple locations via external installation teams.
  • Visiting vendors onsite to carry out thorough QC check 100% of all print & props produced for installation into windows, then producing QC decks for the client. 
  • Produce detailed specifications for internal and external clients based on client knowledge.

 

Skills, Knowledge + Experience 

  • Naturally builds and maintains rapport with the client
  • Strong communicator, able to balance the operational detail with exec summaries for different audiences
  • Experience of working with brand marketing teams and able to demonstrate a common language and goals
  • Experience of managing and delivering In Store activation campaigns in sports/fashion retail environments
  • Co-ordination of a complex supply chain to deliver multi-disciplined products in a single campaign
  • Client service management experience, ideally with time spent working on the client site
  • Efficient time/project management overseeing processes, priorities and costs at all times
  • Passion for retail, thriving in a fast-paced environment
  • Technical expertise surrounding retail installations, providing input during briefings to achieve optimum solutions
  • Proficient in creating solutions based on the campaign needs, and aligning to the overall HH Global account strategy
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Passion for quality and sustainability
  • Confident in managing financial data aligned to the agreed commercial model
  • Highly proficient in excel and the MS suite
  • Fluent in Italian and English to a professional business level
