Purpose of the Job 

The Payroll Analyst supports the administrative execution of country-specific payrolls, ensuring compliance with country-specific regulations and organizational policies. This role serves as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, ensuring employees receive accurate and efficient service. Working with the Global Payroll Director, the Payroll Analyst helps align local payroll operations with the company’s global payroll strategy while continuously ensuring best practices are followed and processes remain efficient and compliant with market standards. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees in the designated region, including salary calculations, bonuses, allowances, and deductions in line with local laws and company policies
  • Stay updated on local labor laws, tax regulations, and payroll requirements to ensure compliance with all regional statutory obligations
  • Serve as the point of contact for employees regarding payroll-related inquiries and concerns, providing timely and accurate responses
  • Liaison with local payroll bureaus to resolve employee or business queries
  • Work with external payroll vendors and third-party providers to ensure smooth payroll processing and resolve any discrepancies
  • Ensure the accurate maintenance of employee payroll records and reports, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulation
  • Assist in preparing for internal or external payroll audits, ensuring all payroll documentation and records are accurate and readily accessible
  • Collaborate with HR and Benefits teams to ensure correct payroll deductions for benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks
  • Generate and review payroll reports for management, ensuring they are accurate, timely, and aligned with the company's financial requirements.
  • Contribute to regional payroll initiatives and projects, including payroll system implementations or process optimizations, to improve overall payroll functions 

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

  • Experience in payroll administration
  • Fluent in English and Czech
  • Familiarity with EMEA payroll laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
  • Payroll certification (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional – CPP) is a plus
  • Experience processing payroll for multiple regions or countries is highly desirable
  • Experience in a fast-paced, global organization preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve payroll discrepancies
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with employees, HR, Finance, and external vendors
  • Proficient in Dayforce and other reporting tools for payroll analysis and reporting
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
