General Description

Design/customize new products for identified customer applications. Support new product design and development activities of T-O-D engineering.

Primary Responsibilities

Product Research & Development

• Design/customize new products in accordance with company and department procedures. Modification drawings per ECN.

Generate appropriate documents such as product specifications, drawing and test plan.  Ensure efficient product transfer to production.Support Sales/Marketing and understand customer application and requirements.  Implement applicable product test plan to ensure product conformance to functional, quality, reliability and agency requirements.

Support to Project Management

• Prepare reports and presentations as needed to communicate project status and issues to customers and management.

• Conduct and track key milestones for engineering jobs, such as conduct design review meetings/ organize FMEA evaluation

Continuous improvement for products

• Support manufacturing issues/ Quality issues in pilot run and production
• Develop cost-reduction proposals
• Implement department procedures for effective and efficient operations

Qualifications

Educational and Professional Qualifications: 

• Bachelor degree or abovein Material Engineering.

Requirements and Attributes: 

• Minimum 1-year experience in product engineering.
• Familiar with production process flow, product design, testing and application. Knowledge of project management is preferred.
• Good communication in verbal and written English.
