Position Title: Electrochemical sensor Specialist
A Day in the Life
- Define sensor requirements for medical device and pharmaceutical products.
- Determine testing and evaluation strategies to assess potential sensor performance.
- Support and execute chemistry studies to characterize sensors.
- Support and execute chemical analysis to characterise sensors, solution and materials.
- Interface with cross-functional teams for product development, and support project execution and prioritization.
- Partner with internal and external team to maintain the laboratory equipment and spaces efficient and safe.
- Provide assistance to other team with complex chemical and electrochemical evaluations that require considerable judgment and initiative.
- Maintain equipment and lab spaces operative, clean and safe.
Must Have:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience
- Professional Knowledge of English languages
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of the principal analytical techniques needed for sensors and dialysis fluid characterisation (voltametri, HPLC-MS, GC-MS, IR, titration)
- Master’s degree in biomedical engineering, chemistry, biology, pharmacy or similar faculties
- Knowledge of the basic principle of dialysis
- Knowledge of Design Control process for medical device
- Knowledge of applicable standards for method development and validation (ICH Q2, ICH Q14, USP <1225>; USP <1223>; USP <1033>)
- Design and Development of new or existing pharmaceutical products formulation in compliance with development pharmaceutical standard (ICH Q8; ICH Q9; ICH Q12)
