Position Title 

EHS Engineer

Main Purpose主要目标:

• Risk management and control prevent any EHS compliance issue;
• Coordinate EH&S activities on site;
• Incident prevention and investigation;
• Emergency responding and handling;
• Support Engineering department for equipment and process improvement.

Key Accountabilities关键职责: 

• Establish and maintain EHS Management programs, and coordinate all the functions to keep the system continually improving, and implementing safety programs for the project;
• Establishes and maintains relationships with governmental authorities on matters of, environmental permits, submission of required reports, and maintenance of data;
• Keep monitoring the working safety to ensure company EHS practices in compliance with statutory requirements. Such as hazard waste, environmental monitoring, emergency response, Safety material include PPE etc.;
• Conduct EHS introduction and training to new starters to the project, including staff and contractors' workers so that they are acquainted with safety requirements, safe work practices, and procedures.
• Establish construction safety training requirements and training materials.
• Prevent and correct safety and health issues through job safety / risk analysis.
• Be responsible for the implementation of site Emergency response plan.
• Be responsible for accident reporting, investigation and corrective action; Follow up the corrective and preventive actions and ensure effective closure.
• Expand the scope and enhance work ability by supporting engineering department for equipment and process improvement.

Experience and Knowledge经验与技能:

• At least 2 years EHS working experience in big size multi-national companies;
• Familiar with ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 system;
• Familiar with local environmental, health and safety regulatory;
• Good communication skills and strong working responsible person;
• Knowledge of local occupational Health, environmental protection requirements;
• Actively support an environment that supports teamwork, co-operation & performance excellence within one team;

Qualifications任职资格:

• Bachelor degree or above with mechanical or electronical engineering related majors (Required)
• Technical Expertise on Industrial Safety or Environment. (Required)
• Good communication skills (Required)
• Good read and written skills in Mandarin and English. (Preferred)
