Join the Acorn Group as a Facilities Coordinator! We are seeking a dedicated and highly organised Facilities Coordinator to join our team. This is a key role supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our offices and workspaces across the business.

 

Throughout our recent growth, the business has invested a lot in to the workspaces and office locations- as the Facilities Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the day to day maintenance and improvements being made around our offices across the country.

 

Job Title: Facilities Coordinator

Salary: up to £32,000 depending on experience

Location: Based in Liverpool with travel required

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. 9am to 5:30pm

 

What you will be doing:

  • Assist in the delivery of planned and unplanned maintenance
  • Undertake maintenance and repair on a planned and reactive basis.
  • Participate in an on-call rota, responding to emergency callouts as necessary.
  • Maintain full and constructive communication with contractors
  • Ensure a good standard of maintenance and repair throughout area of responsibility.
  • Ensure that work areas are maintained in a clean and safe manner.
  • Be familiar with and adhere to health and safety practices at all times.
  • Identify and report potential safety and security exposures.
  • Able to liaise with the building’s leaders and specialist sub-contractors.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Strong ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to shared goals and liaising with stakeholder internally and externally
  • Capable of taking initiative and working independently while maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism at all times
  • Able to identify, source, and obtain the necessary tools, materials and supplies to complete tasks efficiently and without delay
  • Maintain a disciplined, punctual and professional attitude with a strong commitment to completing tasks to a high standard
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly document work, communicate with colleagues and contractors, and report issues effectively
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and manage daily work tasks effectively, prioritising workloads as necessary
  • Proactively manage and adhere to health and safety standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and visitors
  • Understanding of common electrical systems and ability to carry out minor repairs or trouble shooting
  • Capable of addressing routine plumbing tasks
  • Prior experience in facilities or building management would be beneficial
  • Full clean driving licence
