  1. Core Responsibilities
  • Execute OSB’s design strategy to enhance learning engagement and retention
  • Ensure all materials align with brand and corporate guidelines and design/UX/UI best practices
  • Collaborate with the Learning teams, People Function and Business Function SMEs to meet stakeholder requirements
  • Design infographics, e-learning visuals and layouts, animations and motion graphics, interactive content, maintaining standards and quality
  • Produce high quality design assets to assist across various learning formats including facilitator lead training and e-learning
  • Maintain consistency across all design assets, ensuring accessibility, usability and best practices
  • Collaborate with technology teams, including the People Transformation & Skills Technology & Insight team, to enhance UX/UI design in all content and on OSB’s Learning Management System
  • Participate in project meetings to help the Product Owners maintain visibility of flow, work in progress and blockers
  • Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of training content and format to track their performance against desired outcomes, and deploy a continuous improvement culture
  • Participation in user testing and other UX based principles for continuous development of digital output
  • Support the Group’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Specialist in identifying and implementing related initiatives to create a truly inclusive and equitable work environment
  • Ensure that you and your team fully understand and comply with the organisation’s Risk Management Policies and Data Governance Policies as they relate to your area of responsibility and demonstrate in your day-to-day work that you treat data as an important corporate asset which must be protected and managed

 

  1. Experience Requirements
  • 5-7 years experience in developing digital layouts, graphics and assets using Adobe CC
  • 5-7 years experience motion graphics using Premier Pro and/or After Effects
  • 5-7 years experience using Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Figma
  • Demonstratable knowledge of UX & UI principles and best practices including web accessibility standards
  • Experience in instructional design principles, is desirable
  • Experience creating e-learning modules using Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate, is desirable

 

  1. Knowledge Requirements
  • Knowledge of User Testing practices
  • Robust knowledge industry tools, systems and methods to sustain a skills based organisation

 

  1. Skill and Competency Requirements
  • Good communication skills are essential (verbal and written), with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated skills to analyse complex problems and deliver insightful, practical, and sustainable solutions
  • Resilience and tenacity to lead through ambiguity and change with impact
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint
  • Intermediate skills in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word is essential
  • Ability and desire to self-learn and continually develop

 

  1. Required Qualifications/Certifications
  • GSCE/GCE qualifications in both maths and English are essential
  • Degree, qualification or equivalent experience in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Human Factors, Product design or related fields are essential.
