Join Our Procurement Team!
Are you an ambitious individual with excellent organisational skills and a readiness to learn? We are looking for someone to provide administrative support across our Procurement Team, reporting to the Senior IT and Digital Procurement Manager.
In this role, you will:
- Develop, document, and maintain processes and procedures to serve the procurement organisation.
- Work closely with Procurement Managers and the Head of Procurement to produce analytical reports supporting decision-making and KPI delivery.
- Become an expert in our contracts management database, ensuring accurate contract data.
- Have the opportunity to grow towards the role of Junior Procurement Manager.
- Promote purchasing best practices and provide guidance on procurement policies.
- Support the on-boarding of new suppliers and maintain accurate supplier data.
- Assist in the development and renewal of contracts and service level agreements.
- Provide administrative support during RFI and RFP processes.
- Maintain the Procurement Handbook and other team documentation.
- Assist with category plans and reports to drive stakeholder decisions.
- Support with supplier invoicing issues.
Technical Skills Required:
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills.
Commercial Skills Required:
- Ability to quickly develop commercial understanding.
- Ability to develop negotiation skills.
- Basic understanding of contract terms.
Knowledge and Experience Required:
- Process-driven, organised, and methodical.
- Understanding of procurement processes and systems.
- General administrative knowledge.
