Purpose of the role
The Implementation Manager will lead the development and execution of strategic operational solutions for new and existing enterprise clients, and coach a team of implementation and project managers to comply with business needs. This person will manage various aspects of the implementation process, including business development, vendor negotiations, resource planning, project communications, training, on-boarding, and integration of HH Global operational policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will drive innovation and continuously work to improve service quality and efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Oversees and provides strategic support for all assessments and implementation projects in the region
- Drive project management excellence and provide mentorship and leadership
- Provide strategic support in Business Development Activities
- Coach a team of project managers
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders involved in key projects
- Define, negotiate, and implement efficient operational solutions for accounts
- Identify and understand client deliverables
- Manage project reporting to effectively optimize savings
- Consult on production management to identify additional operational solutions and opportunities for the client
- Build process maps with MS Visio and/or MS Project to track the status of print procurement and production solutions
- Partner with Business Development, Operations, and Human Resources to ensure a smooth transition and rebadging process for current client employees
- Identify, lead, and motivate a virtual team to support the successful delivery of all projects
- Identify inefficiencies and opportunities to streamline business processes and procedures to improve overall workflow and client experience
- Create client facing internal resources and action point logs from meetings
- Create clear and compelling presentations that demonstrate HH Global’s value
- Regularly report on achievements and issues, escalating issues where required
- Remove roadblocks in projects
- Serve as a subject matter expert and point of escalation
- Travel to and work on-site in various client locations during key stages of implementation
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
- Extensive experience in a professional business environment
- Extensive experience of previous client interfacing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field required, MBA is desirable
- Experience in project management is preferred
- Print industry experience is desirable
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with proven ability to interact with varying audiences and levels
- Good understanding and experience of managing multiple, complex internal and external relationships
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Proven track record in delivering successful change management programs would be an advantage but not essential
- Fluent in business English and one other European language
- Highly proficient with MS Office software, especially Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
- Ability to build clear, compelling PowerPoint presentations
- Willing to travel 50% of the time
- Entrepreneurial minded with an internal drive to continuously hit goals and succeed
