Account Executive
Purpose of the job
The Account Executive will be responsible for working closely with our clients, suppliers and internal contacts delivering services professionally, to specifications and on time in line with SLA’s.
As the Account Executive you will manage projects and liaise with suppliers and clients, delivering excellent customer service whilst delivering day-to-day requirements. You will coordinate the production process and process orders in line with the client brief and the client expectations.
This is a fast-paced role dealing with a variety of permanent display projects. You will be required to build and develop relationships with key stakeholders whilst primarily delivering excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Provide support to the Account/Project Manager and Project Buyer.
- Monitor projects to ensure they are delivered to specification, on time and in line with SLA’s.
- Ensure activity is recorded using the designated company tools.
- Keeping G drive up to date (technical drawings, delivery schedule, delivery notes, assembly guides, etc)
- Ensure invoicing procedures are followed.
- Manage and fulfil client expectations (clear information sharing).
- Manage day to day operational administration.
- Assisting with stock requests, prepare documents and booking deliveries.
- Raising and updating supplier purchase orders.
- Chasing suppliers for acknowledgement and key dates.
- Managing free issue materials, tracking dates, following up on arrival and checking contents of deliveries.
- Coordinate and arrange packing + shipping to relevant suppliers
- Prepare and issue delivery notes and book freight.
- Arrange production deliveries to third party agencies.
- Send delivery notifications and chase for PODs.
- Keep delivery schedule up to date.
- Deliver excellent customer service to clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
- Experience working within a client services environment directly engaging with clients.
- Experience working within a manufacturing/sourcing environment.
- Numerate with a strong commercial understanding.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
- Experience of finding solutions.
- Keen eye for detail.
- Experience using MS Excel/Google Sheets.
