Account Manager
Purpose of the Job
As the Account Manager you will work closely with our key client stakeholders to execute bespoke and complex retail campaigns across our customers’ retail environments to the highest standards. To achieve this, you will work from a client brief to support with the design and execution of areas inclusive but not limited to windows, launch zones, in store environment and digital campaigns. Following a critical path, and creating multiple documents throughout the process, you will manage suppliers and internal contacts to help develop innovative ideas, ensuring each campaign is on specification, on time and on budget.
Throughout the process, the Account Manager must remain in constant contact with suppliers, clients and internal teams, updating all stakeholders throughout, negotiating costings and timescales for each job, selecting the most appropriate supplier. From providing clear creative and production briefs, to quality checking and attending and overseeing installations, attention to detail is required at every step of the process.
This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
Key Responsibilities

Project lead in campaign management. Safeguarding timelines, budget, project management and installations.

Updating and managing critical paths and WIP documents.

Ensuring successful delivery of special execution campaigns across the client estate in the UK and EU, making sure all is in line with contractual SLA’s & KPI’s.

Managing all financial aspects of campaign production including quoting, raising POs, invoicing and reconciliation.

Managing financial aspects of account management including budgets and forecast

Take briefs from the client including full specification details and deadline dates and manage from start to finish

Attend internal client meeting in advisory role, on creative and execution.

Attend creative brief meetings to advise on execution of campaigns.

Working collaboratively to ensure the correct vendors and partners are used for each project, considering location, complexity, budget & deadline.

Provide technical input and advice on campaigns. Suggest alternative options and innovation/sustainable where possible.

Brief creative studio and deliver input on creative solutions and vision on campaigns.

Take a proactive role in assessing areas of improvement and spot opportunities for business development that are in line with company strategy and the clients objective.

On occasion, attend overnight installs, solution finding, self-snagging and having the utmost attention to detail.

Manage installations remotely in multiple locations via external installation teams.

Visiting vendors onsite to carry out thorough QC check 100% of all print & props produced for installation into windows, then producing QC decks for the client.

Produce detailed specifications for internal and external clients based on client knowledge.

Manage client budget based on campaign calendar.

Manage client calendar based on product launches.

Prepare campaign debrief meetings with client and gather feedback.

Brief suppliers on client requirements.

Identify & visit new suppliers and make sure they adhere to strict FDT’s, do periodical checks to ensure high level of execution.

Regular store checks to scope out new opportunities for client.

Deliver a high level of customer service.
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
-
Experience in management and conceptualizing special execution campaigns including flagship windows, launch zones and store fits is essential.

Knowledge of Windows/special execution installations, VM, POS & 3D bespoke elements is essential.

Development of creative ideation (online/offline) experience required.

Experience in briefing creative studios, able to translate creative concept into studio briefs.

Technical print knowledge with understanding of different techniques.

Account management experience, working within a contracted environment to strict SLAs (service level agreements) and KPIs (key performance indicators).

Able to manage and communicate with key client stakeholders to successfully deliver and exceed their expectations. Experience in liaising directly with clients and advising on campaign solutions is essential.

Is professional, courteous and calm under pressure.

Project management mind-set with experience of end-to-end project management with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong time management and prioritisation skills.

Experienced and confident with press passing and quality checking.

Experience in troubleshooting unexpected project issues and implementing preventative measures is essential.

Numerate with a strong commercial understanding.

Knowledge of Microsoft office is essential.

Full driving license.
