Purpose of the job

 

The Account Manager will work alongside their Senior Account Manager and Account Director, the key UK Client, suppliers and internal contacts to ensure solutions are developed and delivered on time and against operational and financial business targets. This individual also needs to be a strong negotiator who can support the vision and strategies of the account while managing the tactical components of running the daily business. Balance daily support needs with long-term strategy and successfully combine vision and reality into effective plans.

With regards to matters relating to print, the Account Manager is required to remain in contact with suppliers and clients and is responsible for taking ownership of the relationship and developing it further. The Account Manager is required to negotiate costings and timescales for each job and selecting the most appropriate supplier while remaining compliant with the commercial model

 

As Account Manager (Temporary + Permanent POS), you will be responsible for:

  • Confidently challenging the client’s brief from an informed experience, consult and offer alternative effective solutions. Have strong established supplier relationships, identify local, near-shore and off-shore sourcing opportunities.
  • Accompanying our client out in the field in London recommending ways to elevate and hero their product above the competition.
  • Delivering operational excellence.
  • Support your Account Director in delivering effective growth strategies and managing the opportunities for these Clients.
  • Support in managing, developing and nurturing our key client relationships.
  • Managing and owning the project cycle and support leading the pitch.
  • Achieve and excel growth targets.
  • Provide regular forecasts to the Senior Account Manager and Account Director.

You will be responsible for maintaining an excellent standard of communication with existing clients and developing relationships and ways of working with new clients. You will be co-ordinating and liaising with the global team and operations team to deliver your objectives.

You will be a confident ‘self-starter’ with excellent communication, relationship building and organisational skills. This role combines pitching and strategic planning as well as driving excellent project delivery for existing clients. Strong Client facing and presentation skills are essential as is a strategic brain and the ability to challenge the norm and explore to do things differently.

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

  • Devise and lead technical input, challenge the brief and implement effective, outstanding and innovative solutions.
  • Devise and produce agreed detailed specifications based on our client’s business and your substantial experience. Negotiate and agree deadline dates managing the whole project lifecycle.
  • Work with suppliers building specifications, producing 3D renders and prototypes and walk-through with the client in Hammersmith, London.
  • Always deliver excellent customer service despite the pressure.
  • Closely monitoring with the supplier delivery schedules are being adhered to and planning for any risks. Always having a plan B.
  • Ensure activity is recorded using our systems.
  • Maintain a full understanding of the broad range of HH Global's services and work closely with the internal departments to provide the client with digital services that complement their display solutions.
  • Implement new methods and procedures as required.
  • Work as a team to help deliver contractual requirements, prepare presentations and complete necessary account admin and reporting.
  • Ensure invoicing procedures are followed.
  • Able to attend meetings away from the regular workplace (usually Hammersmith) as required.
  • Work with Account Director to identify and win new business opportunities.
  • Agree and manage budgets and P+L’s.
  • Deliver services to meet and exceed contracted SLA’s.
  • Manage and monitor objectives to meet key business drivers.
  • Ensure compliance with Regulatory and Company policies.
  • Measure customer satisfaction and take appropriate action.

 

 

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

  • Account management experience, working within a contracted environment to strict SLAs (service level agreements) and KPIs (key performance indicators).
  • Experience in a client facing role is essential.
  • Experience in liaising directly with clients and advising on campaign print / temporary and permanent POS is required.
  • POS conceptual experience.
  • Previous experience working in marketing print procurement essential.
  • Experience in troubleshooting unexpected project issues and implementing preventative measures is preferred.
  • Leadership and management experience is desirable.
  • Numerate with a strong commercial understanding.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Able to prioritise workload in a high energy environment.
  • Has a high level of technical print knowledge with detailed understanding of different techniques.
  • Experienced and confident with press passing.
  • Is professional, courteous and calm under pressure.
  • Has a project management mind-set.
  • Process driven, with an eye to sales and business development.
  • Approachable and confident to offer advice in meetings.
  • Able to manage and communicate with key client stakeholders to successfully deliver and exceed their expectations.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to work in systems is essential.
