Creative Operations Manager
Purpose of the Job
Please note this is a 2-4 month contract role*
Creative Operations Manager will be responsible for building operational excellence of an internal Creative Team through processes and partnerships that elevate team performance and allow for a culture of creativity and strategic planning. You'll be joining a team that supports our client’s growing brand and creative expression. This team is responsible for creating memorable and engaging brand design, visuals, campaigns, and messaging across our marketing, product, and internal & external culture.
This individual also needs to be a strong leader who can focus on the vision and strategies of the account, balance daily team support needs with long-term strategy and successfully combine vision and reality into effective plans.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management:
● Proactively introduce (by uncovering pain points), streamline, and improve marketing operations
processes, including budget management, resource allocation, and vendor relations.
● Implement change management workflows that reflect the scaling business to streamline
operations.
● Create presentations to educate and train the team (producers, creative, Xfun) on any new tools
or process flows. Be a strong advocate for change and track how changes are taking hold, iterate
as needed.
Resource Management:
● Efficiently allocate and manage marketing resources, including budget, staffing, and technology
tools, to maximize costs, project optimization, bandwidth constraints, and productivity.
● Ability to recruit, identify, and source talent from talent agencies based on the needs of the
business.
Data Analysis:
● Utilize data to track, measure, and report on creative team performance, providing actionable
insights to improve campaign effectiveness, as it relates to creative production i.e. asset
utilization, did we overproduce, duplicate assets, or did we under produce assets.
● Hold post-mortems to continuously improve our process over iterations
Campaign/Launch Management: Oversee the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with the overall marketing strategy. Some examples of projects you would lead design:
● Out of home globally
● Social media
● Lifecycle
● Retail
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
● 7+ years of experience in marketing operations, project management, creative production, or a similar role
● Proficiency in marketing automation tools and analytics platforms i.e. Asana, Gira, Workday. ● Strong producer skills with a track record of successful campaign execution.
● Experience in CG, photography/video production, print design, or digital advertising. Knowledge of industry-standard production workflows and processes.
● Experience working with international clients or in global markets, including localization.
● Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
● Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
● Strong foundation of how to manage and negotiate contracts with agencies i.e. photographers and their agents.
● Knowledge of health and wellness products or wearable technology is a plus
