Purpose of the job

As a QA Team Leader at HH Global, you will take ownership of the full QA process across one of our main product. You will be responsible for managing the entire QA agenda, including regression testing, end-to-end testing, test automation, user acceptance testing and leading a high-performing QA team. You will work closely with our development and creative teams to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient delivery of solutions that exceed client expectations. 

Key Responsibilities

  • - Lead and inspire a talented team of testers to deliver high-quality solutions across various client projects. 

  • - Oversee daily activities, task allocation, and prioritization of the QA team to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery. 

  • - Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and foster a growth mindset within the team. 

  • - Cultivate a collaborative and transparent team culture focused on communication, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement. 

  • - Define and drive best practices for testing, including regression, end-to-end, UAT, and performance testing, ensuring alignment with quality standards. 

  • - Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for each project. 

  • - Oversee defect tracking and resolution to ensure early issue identification and resolution. 

  • - Develop and report on key quality metrics, offering clear visibility into progress, risks, and areas of improvement. 

  • - Lead the creation, maintenance, and execution of automated tests, ensuring consistency, scalability, and speed. 

  • - Evaluate and implement best-fit test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress). 

  • - Support the integration of automated testing within CI/CD pipelines to improve development and testing efficiency. 

  • - Work closely with cross-functional teams—including development, design, and product management—to ensure alignment on project timelines, acceptance criteria, and deliverables. 

  • - Champion a culture of collaboration, working hand-in-hand with development teams to encourage early testing and reduce defects in production. 

  • - Drive the adoption of Agile practices and promote a shift-left testing approach across teams. 

  • - Identify and drive continuous process improvements. 

  • - Ensure that testing efforts align with client expectations, meeting quality standards while adhering to project timelines. 

  • - Stay attuned to industry trends and client feedback to continuously improve QA processes. 

 

Knowledge, Skills + Experience 

  • - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 

  • - Strong experience in QA, with a focus on both manual and automated testing. 

  • - Proven track record of leading and managing QA teams in a client-driven environment. 

  • - Expertise in defining and implementing testing strategies. 

  • - Strong experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress). 

  • - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, particularly within a global or distributed team. 

  • - Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. 

  • - Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, managing multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
