Senior Account Manager
Purpose of the job
As Senior Account Manager you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service and project management of in-store display solutions for a high-end in-home technology brand. You will develop and maintain a strong relationship with key client stakeholders and you will propose and deliver all company solutions. You will report to the Account Director and work closely with the client, suppliers and internal contacts to deliver services to our customer professionally, to specification, and on time. You will manage the end to end project delivery of complex Permanent POS retail displays for a high-end in-home technology brand. Key markets in-scope include Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
Key responsibilities
- Manage local client relationships and taking the lead in overall project management.
- Oversee project delivery for in-scope markets, managing internal team performance and resource allocation.
- Handle client briefs, including full specifications and deadlines, and manage from start to finish.
- Provide technical input and advice on Permanent POS and Print projects as required.
- Suggest alternative options and innovation where possible.
- Produce detailed specifications for internal and external clients based on client knowledge.
- Monitor projects to ensure they are delivered to specification and on time.
- Ensure activity is recorded using the designated company tools.
- Maintain a full understanding of the broad range of HH Global's services and work closely with the internal departments to provide the client with suitable solutions.
- Work as a team to help deliver contractual requirements, prepare presentations and complete necessary account admin and reporting.
- Ensure invoicing procedures are followed.
- Able to attend meetings away from the client site as required.
- Work closely with the Account Director at HH Global to identify new business opportunities.
- Deliver services to meet and exceed contracted SLA’s.
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
- Account management experience, working within a contracted environment to strict SLAs (service level agreements) and KPIs (key performance indicators).
- Strong project management and time management skills.
- Experience managing the design, manufacture and installation of Permanent Retail Displays (multi-material, including wood and metal)
- Experience managing Temporary POS and Print projects
- Experience in a client facing role is essential.
- Experience in liaising directly with clients and advising on Permanent POS is essential.
- Experience in troubleshooting unexpected project issues and implementing preventative measures is preferred.
- Process driven, with an eye to sales and business development.
- Approachable and confident to offer advice in meetings.
- Manage and communicate with key client stakeholders to deliver and exceed their expectations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office applications (Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
- Fluency in German and English language is essential.
