LRU Process Tech: The Impact You’ll Have On The Organization and World

  • You will assist reactor operators with raw material additions and help package finished products from reactors and storage tanks into shipping containers.
  • You’ll prepare a variety of cold blends using raw materials and finished products to support consistent, high-quality production.
  • You will perform inspections and chemical testing on products, processes, and equipment to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

What Does a Typical Day Look Like? Here are your primary responsibilities:

  • Operate centrifuging process.
  • Operate Delta V computer-controlled methanol recovery process
  • Stage raw materials and packaging containers for chemical process.
  • Loading/unloading of finished product and raw materials from tank trucks.
  • Handle HF (hydrofloric acid).
  • Perform cycle counting activities.
  • Perform simple mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Maintain safe and clean work environment.
  • Perform weekly safety shower inspections.
  • Train on reactor process when feasible.
  • Perform other tasks as required.

What is Needed to be Successful in this Role (Required Skills/Abilities):

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years chemical plant background.
  • HazMat certified or ability to obtain certification by the next training opportunity.
  • Team player work ethic.
  • Aptitude to understand technical concepts.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills and aptitude.
  • Medically qualified to wear a respirator.
